More Than Just a Raised Garden Bed
Walk through almost any garden centre and you'll find raised garden beds made from timber, steel or plastic. They come in a handful of standard shapes and sizes, they're assembled once, filled with soil, and that's where their story usually ends.
The Orbit System was created from a different way of thinking.
Instead of designing another raised garden bed, we designed a modular growing system. One that gives gardeners the freedom to build, expand and adapt their growing space over time without replacing what they already own.
Today, that system begins with Orbit Panels, precision manufactured fibreglass composite panels that bolt together to create strong, attractive raised garden beds in a variety of sizes and configurations. As the Orbit range continues to grow, injection moulded Orbit Tiles and Orbit Pods will expand the system even further, giving customers new ways to build, grow and customise their gardens while remaining part of the same modular ecosystem.
Whether you're planting a few herbs outside the kitchen door, creating a productive vegetable garden for the family, or planning a larger food forest, The Orbit System is designed to grow with your ideas, season after season.
Because great gardens are rarely built all at once. They evolve. Orbit was designed to evolve with them.
Built for Australian Conditions
Australian gardens place constant pressure on outdoor materials. Intense sunlight, heavy rain, humidity, temperature changes, insects and prolonged contact with damp soil can quickly expose the weaknesses in conventional raised garden beds.
Orbit Panels are manufactured from fibreglass reinforced composite, a material selected for its strength, low weight and suitability for long-term outdoor use. Unlike timber, the panels cannot rot or be eaten by termites. Unlike steel, they do not rust. They also avoid the heavy, permanent nature of masonry garden beds.
The panels are strong enough to contain substantial volumes of growing media while remaining light enough to handle, transport and assemble without specialised machinery. Their controlled flexibility allows them to form smooth circular and curved configurations while retaining the structural strength required for a productive raised garden bed.
Each panel is joined using stainless steel hardware, helping the assembled structure withstand repeated exposure to moisture and outdoor conditions with minimal maintenance.
Orbit was designed in Queensland for the realities of Australian gardening. From hot inland properties to humid coastal regions, the system provides a durable foundation that can remain outdoors season after season while your garden continues to grow.
Build Your Garden, Your Way
Every garden is different, and one of the biggest limitations of traditional raised garden beds is that they expect every gardener to work within the same handful of standard shapes and sizes.
The Orbit System™ was designed to offer far greater flexibility.
Using modular Orbit Panels, gardeners can create compact raised beds for courtyards and patios, larger circular gardens for productive growing, or connect multiple structures together to suit the available space. Future Orbit Tiles will provide an additional construction option while remaining fully compatible with the same modular design philosophy.
As your property, experience or growing ambitions evolve, your garden can evolve with them. Extend an existing garden, create dedicated growing zones for different crops, or redesign the entire layout without replacing the components you've already invested in.
Whether you're growing fresh herbs outside the kitchen, building a productive vegetable garden, creating ornamental feature beds or planning a diverse food forest, The Orbit System provides the flexibility to build a garden that's uniquely your own.
Start Small. Expand Anytime
Every successful garden starts somewhere.
For some people that's a single raised garden bed beside the back patio. For others it's the first stage of a much larger plan. The Orbit System has been designed to support both.
Begin with the configuration that suits your available space, budget and growing goals today, then expand whenever the time is right. Add more Orbit Panels to increase the size of an existing garden, build additional growing areas, or incorporate new Orbit components as the system continues to evolve.
Unlike many traditional garden beds that are replaced when they no longer meet your needs, Orbit allows your original investment to remain part of your growing system. Every expansion builds on what you've already created.
Gardens are rarely completed in a single weekend. They develop through seasons of learning, experimenting and growing. Orbit was designed to support that journey from the very beginning.
One System. Multiple Components.
The Orbit System has been designed as a complete modular ecosystem, with each component performing a specific role while working seamlessly with the others.
Orbit Panels form the structural framework of today's system, creating durable raised garden beds that can be assembled in a variety of configurations. Orbit Tiles will soon introduce an alternative injection moulded construction method, providing additional flexibility while maintaining the same modular design philosophy.
Compatible Orbit Panels and Orbit Tiles can also accept Orbit Pods, transforming the surrounding walls into productive planting space without increasing the footprint of the garden.
Rather than purchasing separate products that never work together, every Orbit component has been developed as part of a single growing system. As the Orbit range expands, existing customers can continue building on what they already own without starting again.
Orbit Pods. Growing Beyond the Wall.
Orbit Pods transform the outer wall of a compatible Orbit garden bed into productive growing space, but their greatest advantage lies beneath the surface.
Each removable two-piece pod consists of a planting pod and an integrated spout that extends through the panel and into the main growing area.
As the plant matures, its roots naturally grow through the spout and into the substantially larger soil volume inside the Orbit garden bed, allowing continued development well beyond the confines of the pod itself.
An integrated watering channel bypasses the pod and delivers water and liquid nutrients directly into the plant's developing root zone inside the garden bed.
Once established, this encourages moisture to be delivered where mature roots need it most while allowing the growing media within the pod to remain comparatively drier and well oxygenated around the crown of the plant.
This unique approach allows gardeners to increase planting density without restricting root development, creating opportunities for healthier plants, efficient irrigation, companion planting and more productive use of every available surface.
Orbit Pods have been designed as an integral part of the Orbit System, giving gardeners another way to expand both the capability and productivity of their existing garden.
Designed to Last
A productive garden is an investment measured in years, not seasons. The structure supporting it should be built with the same long-term mindset.
Orbit Panels are manufactured from fibreglass reinforced composite, chosen for its combination of strength, durability and outdoor performance. Combined with stainless steel fasteners, the system has been designed to withstand years of exposure to the elements while requiring very little ongoing maintenance.
Unlike timber, Orbit won't rot or become vulnerable to termites. Unlike steel, it won't rust. Should your garden change over time, individual panels can also be replaced without dismantling or replacing the entire system.
Perhaps most importantly, Orbit has been designed to remain relevant. Expand it, rearrange it, relocate it or incorporate new Orbit components as the system continues to evolve. Instead of replacing your garden, you're continually improving it.
That's the advantage of building a system instead of buying a garden bed.

Grow Almost Anything
The Orbit System has been designed to support an enormous variety of edible and ornamental plants, making it suitable for gardeners of every experience level.
Grow fresh vegetables, herbs, strawberries, leafy greens, flowering annuals, perennial ornamentals, native Australian plants, medicinal herbs, companion plants, pollinator-friendly flowers, berry bushes, dwarf fruit trees or complete edible landscapes.
Create productive kitchen gardens, children's gardens, decorative courtyard features, compact food forests or dedicated growing zones for seasonal crops. Orbit adapts to the way you choose to garden, allowing different planting styles to exist within the same growing system.
Whether your goal is fresh produce for the family, attracting beneficial insects, improving biodiversity or simply creating a beautiful outdoor space, Orbit provides a flexible foundation that can continue growing alongside your ideas.
Designed Around Nature
Nature rarely grows in straight lines or isolated containers. Healthy ecosystems develop through relationships between plants, soil biology, beneficial insects, fungi and the countless organisms working beneath the surface.
The Orbit System has been developed with those natural relationships in mind.
Its modular design encourages diverse planting combinations, allowing vegetables, herbs, flowers, shrubs and trees to share the same growing environment while supporting companion planting and healthy soil ecosystems. Orbit Pods extend this concept further by allowing roots to establish beyond the pod itself and into the larger soil volume within the growing system.
Rather than separating plants into isolated containers, Orbit encourages them to become part of a larger living environment where water, nutrients and biology can work together more naturally.
Every gardener will develop their own approach. Orbit simply provides the foundation to build it.
The Orbit Difference
Every growing system has strengths. Choosing the right one depends on how you want your garden to develop over the coming years.
Traditional timber garden beds are simple to build but eventually require maintenance or replacement. Corrugated steel beds are durable but fixed in shape and offer little opportunity for future expansion. Plastic systems are lightweight but often sacrifice strength, while masonry structures provide permanence at the expense of flexibility.
The Orbit System was developed to combine the best qualities of each while overcoming many of their limitations.
Its modular construction allows gardens to be expanded, relocated and reconfigured as your needs change. Fibreglass reinforced composite panels provide strength without unnecessary weight, while compatible Orbit Pods introduce additional planting opportunities without increasing the footprint of the garden.
Instead of asking gardeners to choose between durability, flexibility and future growth, Orbit has been designed to bring those qualities together within a single growing system.
