Australian Consumer Law notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This BoneZone® warranty is in addition to any rights and remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable law. Nothing in this warranty limits, excludes, restricts, or modifies those rights.
Warranty period
BoneZone® includes a 3-Year Structural Component Warranty from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product and covers eligible BoneZone® components against defects in materials or workmanship under normal domestic use, provided the product has been used as intended and in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product.
What this warranty covers
During the warranty period, if an eligible BoneZone® component fails because of a defect in materials or workmanship, Petelli Ventures Pty Ltd will, at its discretion, repair the component, replace the defective component, or provide an equivalent replacement part.
Covered structural components may include, depending on the kit purchased:
- Clamp-Post / main post components
- Upper and lower jaw components
- Wall-mount or bracket components supplied as part of the kit
- Structural locking, clamping, or height-adjustment components
- Bone-holding components supplied with the kit
- Other load-bearing BoneZone® parts supplied as original components
Replacement parts may not be identical in colour, finish, version, or design if the original part has been updated, improved, discontinued, or replaced by a newer equivalent part.
What this warranty does not cover
This warranty does not cover:
- Scratches, scuffs, tooth marks, rub marks, stains, fading, surface wear, cosmetic marks, or changes in finish
- Normal wear and tear from dogs, bones, weather, dirt, cleaning, transport, outdoor use, or repeated setup
- Damage caused by chewing, biting, dragging, crushing, impact, dropping, bending, over-tightening, incorrect assembly, incorrect installation, or use outside the product instructions
- Damage caused by using BoneZone® as a chew toy rather than as a bone or treat-holding system
- Damage caused by unsuitable bones, oversized bones, inappropriate treats, or forcing objects into the jaws or holding system
- Damage caused by dogs being left unsupervised, dogs fighting over the product, or multiple dogs using the product in an unsafe manner
- Damage caused by third-party parts, modifications, repairs, accessories, fasteners, brackets, coatings, or alterations not supplied or approved by Petelli Ventures Pty Ltd
- Damage caused by commercial, kennel, daycare, boarding, training, rescue, or high-volume use unless the product was specifically purchased under a commercial-use arrangement approved by Petelli Ventures Pty Ltd
- Lost parts, stolen parts, or parts damaged by animals, vehicles, mowers, tools, machinery, fire, flood, storm, vandalism, neglect, or accidental damage
- Consumable, flexible, or protective parts such as straps, cords, pads, rubber/silicone protectors, protective sleeves, stickers, packaging, printed inserts, or cosmetic covers, unless they were defective when supplied
- Damage to bones, treats, furniture, posts, walls, trees, vehicles, flooring, lawns, property, or any item BoneZone® is attached to
- Veterinary costs, dental costs, injury claims, behavioural issues, or consequential loss, except to the extent required by law
Safe use requirements
BoneZone® must be used responsibly.
Always choose bones or treats that are appropriate for your dog’s size, chewing style, dental condition, and veterinary needs. Always supervise your dog during use. Inspect the product before each use. Tighten any loosened hardware. Stop using the product immediately if any component appears cracked, bent, sharp, unstable, or damaged.
Maintain a close-eye on the bone when supervising chew time and if it becomes loose, stop your pet from chewing, and adjust the bone and or clamp faces until its secured once again.
BoneZone® is designed to hold bones and treats. It is not designed to be chewed as the reward itself.
Making a warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, contact us at:
Please include:
- Your name
- Your order number or proof of purchase
- Date and place of purchase
- Photos or video clearly showing the issue
- A short description of how the product was being used when the issue occurred
- Photos of the full product setup, not just the damaged part
- Your delivery address and preferred contact details
Please do not return any product or part before contacting us. If we need the part returned for assessment, we will provide return instructions.
Assessment and outcome
Once we receive your claim, we will assess the information provided. We may ask for additional photos, video, product measurements, the original part, or further details about how the product was installed and used.
If the claim is approved, we will repair or replace the defective component, or provide an equivalent replacement part.
If the issue is not covered by this warranty, we may still offer replacement parts for purchase where available.
Warranty claim expenses
For approved warranty claims within Australia, Petelli Ventures Pty Ltd will cover the reasonable cost of sending the approved replacement component to you using standard shipping.
If we ask you to return a component for assessment, we will tell you whether return postage is required and how it will be handled before you send anything back.
Unless required by law, we do not reimburse costs for express freight, third-party repairs, installation, removal, tools, labour, veterinary fees, damage to property, or other indirect expenses.
Product changes and equivalent replacements
BoneZone® may be improved over time. Replacement components supplied under this warranty may differ from the original component in colour, finish, material, manufacturing method, or design.
Where an identical part is no longer available, we may supply a newer equivalent part that performs the same, substantially similar, or improved function.
Commercial use
Standard BoneZone® kits are warranted for normal domestic pet use.
Commercial environments such as dog daycares, kennels, boarding facilities, rescue shelters, training facilities, veterinary clinics, grooming businesses, breeders, or other high-volume use settings place higher loads on equipment. Commercial use is not covered by this standard warranty unless Petelli Ventures Pty Ltd has confirmed commercial coverage in writing at the time of purchase.
Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by law, this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of eligible defective BoneZone® components. Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
